Thanks Ginny I bought the rose with the money my Grandma gave me last christmas, so I shall see her every year and as shes a gertrude jekyll she smells wonderful!
Oh hun, my sympathies are with you. Feeling a bit the same way as, on the 9th, it'll be 2 years since my dad died. Whilst my Grandmas are alive it's like there is this vast never ending supply of stories, cooking tips, memories, gardening tips, thrifty advice etc and when they've gone it will feel very strange.
