Thanks Ginny
I bought the rose with the money my Grandma gave me last christmas, so I shall see her every year and as shes a gertrude jekyll she smells wonderful!

I'm a very sentimental being.

Life is so horrible some times.
Give yourself plenty of time to get lost in your thoughts and memories.

Oh hun, my sympathies are with you. Feeling a bit the same way as, on the 9th, it'll be 2 years since my dad died.
(If you want a lighter mood and a little cheering up go and look at my Flickr pics of my Camper Van swap prezzie that I sent off last week.)
Things will get better and the best memories get stronger with time. xx

Sending you a hug Clare. I have yet to lose a Grandma but as the years tick by I know that I'll have to face it someday and I'm dreading it. Whilst my Grandmas are alive it's like there is this vast never ending supply of stories, cooking tips, memories, gardening tips, thrifty advice etc and when they've gone it will feel very strange.
Thinking of you hun.

Thinking of you, I know how you must be feeling as it will be 4 years tomorrow that my mum died, it will get easier.
That is a perfect rose, beautiful.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Is that a self-portrait? If so, you have a huge talent for drawing.

Yes it is a self portrait, thanks Simone.
