I have to admit that I finished my runner last week,
having not taken part in a sew along before
I got quite carried away,
and scared that I might not get it made in the
allotted time.
I have followed Rashidas runner quite faithfully,
as this was only my second ever machine piece,
it was nice to have something to inspire me,
and make my head do some work.
Adding the non patchworky bit.
Basted and quilted,
with the help of a water soluble fabric pen.
Trying out bindings.
I've gone for grey gingham,
as I'm trying to tie it all together..
though now I'm thinking its all a little muted?
Homemade binding.
Machine and hand sewn.
Ta-dahs to follow.

Wow, that's lovely! I had thought about joining the sew along myself, I need something for the table. Love yours, what an inspiration.
I love the fabrics you have put together. Sometimes muted is good, especially when you are feeling mellow. :)

It's looking great! I know I've said it before but those colours are beautiful and I especially love that vintage fabric. :)

Gorgeous! Love the retro looking fabric with the flowers x
It is lovely. Muted is good especially when the day is overcast! x
Looks good to me - I like muted for a change. Can't wait for the ta-daas!
