colour therapy

I don't know about you but I have had about enough of grey days!
By this I mean the neutral colour palette that was the 'noughties'.
I have always been a lover of colour and now its back in my life for good!
Remember my marvelous parcel post?
It has filled me with such inspiration, the patchwork is my hommage to the vintage pieces
(which I am treasuring for now)
Poole pottery. Love it!
sometimes the best colour combinations come from whats left over!

 others are subtle..

 many are useful..

and sometimes a bit special!!

How will you make a change in your home?
Vive la difference!

Why is it when Springs on it's way I feel an urge to completely redecorate. And dare I say it I'm getting ever so slightly bored with shabby and pretty and want to try something different. Feel more of a strong bold 50's and 60's print urge coming on.

Have you actually finished that blanket by the way? It looks pretty big.

Hi Clare,
Just admiring your lovely hexes, they are so relaxing to do. I was looking at the fabrics thinking I have some of those pieces, exactly the same - its because we both won Sals giveaway. Love how you have used yours xx Gem

I love your patchwork, such great colour combinations and an heirloom for the future I'm sure.

I've got the granny crochet bug too!

Yummy colourful post Clare! The hexagons are gorgeous. I used to be a neutrals lover, and I admire houses which are really disciplined and stick to all white but I can't love without colour these days! I think a bit of red, blue and pink is always cheerful :)

So bright and cheery, I love it. I am trying to get more colour in the girl's room at the moment. It's still snowing here, but I am so ready for spring with all it's glorious colours.

Gorgeous - I had forgotten how colourful Poole pottery is. Your crochet projects are fabulous and that patchwork treasure of yours - I am green with envy.
