That flower is so beautiful, I've set it as the background for my laptop. It's so cold and miserable (winter, recession, swine flu) ere in New Zealand, I'm all bundled up in my winter woolies, that seeing that picture reminds me that the sun will bring warmth again.

It feels as if a part of my youth has died today - so tragic. He was a musical genius and gave the world so much. I hope that will be remembered.
