Some fabulous rose stars. They do really remind me of looking through a kaleidoscope though! x

Oh what a great idea! My apple rose star still lacks its points, having been neglected for a quilt. Can I link up the side of the Kleenex box? ;-)

I've really enjoyed making these blocks, and seeing everyone else's beautiful creations! Thanks for starting this block party!

Thanks for doing this link up it has been so much fun watching others make and post their rose stars on Flickr. Now we have a few blog posts to read about the experiences generated. I am getting a stiff arm from too much looking down at my sewing and piecing! Time to take a break but it is like cookies for me hard to stop my hand from reaching for the next one!

Hi Clare,

I am going to take the plunge and give this a go, lol.

I have not patchworked in years and I really do mean years.
In fact, after reading this post the other day, it inspired me to get out some of my old patchwork books.

some of them are 30 years old! Old enough, probably to just be coming back into fashion.

So, even tho I have forgotten everything, once I finish cleaning out my craft room, I am going to give the block a shot - doing the English method should be fun, I havent tried that, so doubly challenging.

Thanks for setting it up and providing the tutorial. I have projects in mind, if this is successful!

cheers
