Happy, and, dare I ask it, dry weekend, to you, too!

I ripped up some underlay today and removed staples, swept and cleaned the wood floor. Now that it has dried, I can see underlay imprints on it. Will have to clean it all over again with a little bit more elbow grease! I feel a rather large crochet rug may be in order...

And what better way to cover those blemishes?

Love this post, so cute and simple :)

By the way I think selfsewn is a great name for your shop and I'll look forward to seeing it open! I have major stash envy after looking at your last post :-S

Enjoy your weekend too. Agree with you about the wet and windy weather, yuck.Especially that big puddle that gathers by the level crossing which cars seem to delight in driving through as I'm walking by!

Hello - I'm taking a bloggy-tea-break after a day of house renovating chaos and I stopped to say thankyou for your lovely blog because - yes! I have very similar floorboards, with dreams of how fantastic they are going to be all oiled and shiny and golden. And how supershabbychic they will look when adorned by my pretty patchwork rugs! Sadly myman doesn't share my dreams and keeps muttering about getting the entire house carpeted, help me! xxx
