lupin o'clock

When does an interest become an obsession?
Why become obsessed by one plant?
What's not to love?
Have I got space for more?
When will you flower, wee purple ones?
Anyone own or seen an orange lupin?

I so know what you mean!! I love them too. Sorry don't have an orange one. I do have a brilliant yellow one that looks just like corn-on-the-cob when its out. I sowed a packet of mixed seeds hoping for a red one but unfortunately didn't get one.

Oooh wow, I just LOVE lupes! I saw some pretty fabby ones at Chelsea, I'm not sure about bright orange but there were certainly some vibrant peachy salmon ones (West Country lupins). And no, you can never have too many!

They are stunning!
The only thing related to Chelsea I'll be doing is eating a bun of that name! You know my gardening ability is nil!

I love lupins too; where I come from they grow on the sides of the country roads - lovely!

Truly beautiful and no more more more of lupins. Mine have stopped growing this year, might be the naughty hens trashing everything.
