happy days

Before I was down in the dumps I made this
'happy book'
for me to draw on things that I'm good at or things that make me happy. Obviously it didn't work! But I've rediscovered her.
And promise to always keep at hand
( this is def not scrapbooking!) : )

*more on the jam later

Must remember that one!

Anyone ever pushed so hard on a needle that the thread end stabbed into your finger?
I don't recommend it!

Ouch!
I like the idea of your book.
Meeting up when you feel more like it would be fab!
May take the children to Lymington on Friday, keeping fingers crossed for the weather.

Yup, done that needle thing several times over the course of my sewing life. How can anyone be so daft as to do it more than once, I always ask myself! I have recently had some sucess teaching myself to use a thimble, which I probably should have done beore...

Thanks for your kind reply to me - don't feel obliged to reply though, as it can get exhausting, can't it? I love the happy book. Keep reading...
