I am sharing our fireplace after finding a great British blog 'posy' with similar interests.

Actually this was another project, there was a 90s hole in the wall jobbie ( a feature noted on the house details no less!) I remember asking the estate agent 'whats going on with the fireplace? Or lack of.
This fireplace was found in a totally distressed state at a reclaimers. It spoke to me, I've never had a non-living object do that before, but this one did. After many hours of gluing and sanding I finally had something that I was proud of. Shes not a grand lady but she has an honest handbuilt quality which speaks volumes to me, I prefer to be surrounded by soulful pieces and of course its recycling again!
